Solis is a landmark development in the centre of Penrith that sets a new standard for residential living in the city.

From the design of quality of communal spaces that access spectacular views, to a building form which challenges the static streetscape, to the quality materials incorporated in the development reflecting the undulating sandstone cliffs of the Blue Mountains, this development  embraces and enhances its context.

The bulk and scale of the development is reduced by expressing a clear identity for the podium in contrast to the floating curved balconies of the residential levels above.

The podium is differentiated through a simple rectilinear form providing a clear demarcation for the ground floor units and terraces. Utilising a large covered area adjacent to living rooms, the design promotes outdoor activity, resulting in a positive engagement with the street.

The movement of the upper residential balconies in and out from the building line provides captivating streetscape.

The hero of this development are the elegant curved brick balconies that enclose the apartments. Sourced from a local brick manufacturer in Warrgamba these balconies set the character for the building.

Inset with finely detailed metal balustrade, the brick provides a sense of permanence, whilst the curved form explores a new form of construction with a classic material.

Lastly this development puts an emphasis on resident amenity from the large covered balconies which promote quality private outdoor living whilst also promoting resident interaction through high quality communal facilities across three roof terraces with pools, food and entertainment areas and a sauna, all with spectacular views across the Penrith CBD and to the mountains.
